The Canopy filtered shower head is one of the most popular luxury showerhead out there. But unlike their main competitor Jolie, Canopy sells other products besides their filtered shower head. Their bedside humidifier is very popular and I’ve actually had one for quite some time! Anyways, I’ve bought the Canopy filtered shower head to review and compare with other luxury filtered shower head options.
Filtration
The canopy filter is smaller than the other brands. (larger filter = more contact time with water and better filtration). It does have some empty space inside, and ideally it would be tightly packed. With empty room inside the filter, the water tends to form grooves and can pass through the filter without contacting all of the filter media.
The Canopy filter uses a 3 stage process, KDF-55, Calcium Sulfite, and Activated Carbon. For more info on these materials and others used in shower filters, visit our filter page.
Price
The Canopy filtered shower head is priced at $150, making it the second most expensive brand I’ve reviewed, after Jolie. The replacement filters are $49 on Amazon (yikes!) or $27 on their website, if you subscribe. The Canopy replacement filters last for 3 months, meaning your annual cost for filters is $196 through Amazon or $108 if you’re subscribed on their site.
Design
I love the design of the Canopy shower head. It’s definitely the best part! While the price and filter aren’t my favorite, I love the design!
Company Policies
Canopy offers 60 day returns. You do have to pay a $10 handling fee. The Canopy showerhead comes with a 12 month warranty, upgraded to a lifetime warranty if you’re subscribed to the filter & aroma replacements.
Final Thoughts
The Canopy is a beautifully designed filtered shower head. Personally it’s not my top choice since the filtration is lacking.

When in comes to Canopy vs Jolie, I’d go for Jolie.
The Canopy is $19 less expensive upfront. But the Jolie filters are larger, have better filtration, and cost less on Amazon.
